Loft Airport Hotel

We stayed on 6 May, when the weather was very hot, but there was no fan or air conditioning. The toilet was very small, and early in the morning we could hear noise from the nearby mosque and school. We picked the hotel hoping to get a good sleep during our flight transit, but it turned into a sleepless nightmare. A waste of money on the taxi, time and hotel room. I think sleeping at the airport would’ve been better.

The room was clean and nice, everything was spot on, and for the price it was a great deal. We booked at the last minute after the hotel we’d originally reserved turned out not to be available. I paid on trip.com around midnight, and they quickly messaged me on Whatsapp to confirm the check-in time. When we got there, staff upgraded us, and check-in was fast and easy, so we could get to bed quickly even though it was late.

I’m very happy with the location and the staff. They’re kind, professional, and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. Mr Emir was especially helpful and did a lot to help us visit Istanbul city. I recommend staying here.

When we checked out, the male receptionist had offered us free breakfast over the phone. But after we returned our cards, we were told to pay 500 liras for breakfast. He clearly scammed us, offering it as free when it was paid. We also had to change rooms twice at check-in because of technical issues with the doors and access cards. The toilet was small, and the seat in room 206 was broken. Not recommended. They’ll try to scam other people next time.
