Simurg Inn Hotel

The staff make you feel like part of the family and think through all the little details, with Ms. Zeynep adding something special to the experience. We had a wonderful short stay at Simurg Inn. The decor is beautiful, the scenery is lovely, and the atmosphere is peaceful. The dogs are so friendly and bring guests a lot of positive energy. Food at the restaurant was the freshest and most delicious we had in the region, and the service was great. We can't wait to stay again.

Dinner at Simurg Inn was the real treat, a series of local dishes with flavors that exceeded what we'd expected. Every plate felt thoughtfully done, and we enjoyed it while looking out over the bay. The hospitality was just as memorable, and we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The view of the Bay of Edremit was awe-inspiring and made it clear this was a special place. With the natural scenery and such good food together, it feels like a hidden paradise. We're already hoping to return for another relaxing stay and meal.

After a weekend here, my wife and I felt refreshed. The food was the best we had on vacation, with a multi-course dinner made from super fresh ingredients, especially all the tomatoes we ate, and a generous, really good breakfast. The location is beautiful and close to mythological ruins, and the hospitality is top notch. Keep an eye out for the adorable dogs around the property. We wanted to take them home.

We had a party of seven and booked three of Simurg Inn's eight rooms. The service was excellent and the food was gourmet plus, and as a travel agent and frequent traveler I've stayed everywhere from hostels to luxury hotels. But they don't seem to follow the usual hospitality practice of letting guests keep track of charges as they go. We weren't shown a bill, so we assumed things were included. Only on the second day did they occasionally show it when we specifically asked. The room we were offered on arrival differed from what we'd booked. Since the hotel was empty, we thought it was an upgrade, but at checkout we found it was a more expensive room and no one had told us. The booking prices were listed in Euros, but they asked for a higher amount in Turkish Liras and charged us 400€ more than the price our deposit was based on. We felt scammed, so keep track of your expenses. Aside from that, the nature was beyond normal.
