Latibule Özel Guest House

We stayed as a couple for three nights and were very satisfied. It was spotless, felt like somewhere you could stay with peace of mind, and offered great value. The staff were friendly and hospitable. Sarımsaklı and Cunda were 15-20 minutes away, and the parking lot was very close. The main drawbacks were that the bed and pillows might feel a bit firm if you like a softer bed, and the central location can be noisy at night. 😊

Getting around was easy from this central spot. The hotel is close to bus and minibus stops, Ayvalık square, and the pier, all just a 2-5 minute walk. Sarımsaklı beach is 15-20 minutes away by minibus, and Cunda Island takes about the same time by sea. We stayed for four nights as a couple and were very pleased. The staff were friendly, helpful, and took care of everything we needed. Our standard room was a little small but fine for sleeping, and the air conditioning was a real convenience. The hotel was clean. It’s in a lively area, so there can be noise day and night, but with the windows closed it wasn’t a problem for us. There’s a large shared refrigerator right by the entrance and shared balconies too.

We were there for two nights, and what you think of the place may depend on what you expect from a hotel. It’s extremely central, but also very noisy. We woke up perhaps ten times over those two nights. The room was tiny, with no wardrobe, mini-fridge, stool, or chair. In the heat, having no way to keep water cold was a problem. There’s no shower enclosure either, so the entire bathroom gets flooded when you shower. We came by car and won’t choose such a central location again. There’s no parking, and nearby lots charge a ridiculous 400-500 TL a day. The room, towels, sheets, and bed were clean. If you don’t have a car, can take a minibus, and care most about cleanliness and a good place to sleep without being woken by all the noise and commotion, you may be more satisfied with your stay.

The room was small, but the high ceilings made it feel spacious. The hotel’s location and cleanliness were good. Since it’s new, a few things were missing, like clothes hangers. When we brought this up, the staff said they would take care of it. The team was attentive and polite and met all our needs during the stay. Overall, it was good value for the money.
