The basement restaurant was a huge rip-off. Two Campari drinks came to almost 50 EUR, and one coffee was around 20-30 EUR, triple what places nearby charge. At checkout, they also tried to keep our 50 EUR deposit, saying we hadn't paid it. They only gave it back after a long argument and I showed the written receipt I had insisted on getting at check-in. Our two rooms were sold as 22 sqm Deluxe rooms, but they were tiny, maybe 14-15 sqm including the hall and bathroom. The window looked straight onto a concrete wall just inches away. Everything felt filthy, with old stained carpets, hair everywhere, and visibly dirty pillows and sheets. The bathroom was only about 1.5m x 1.5m, so there was barely room to shower properly. None of it matched the Booking.com photos or description. Management seemed disastrous and completely indifferent. Two women serving breakfast were the only decent staff we encountered, though they seemed to be foreign workers. The rest were unprofessional. Avoid this hotel. It felt like a tourist trap, cramped, dirty, and dishonest, a complete waste of money.

The reception is open around the clock, and they brought me coffee as soon as I landed. When I was checking out, the gentleman at reception quietly brought me a bottle of water. The breakfast ladies were lovely, and the staff in general were welcoming, respectful, and helpful. Everything was very clean, neat, and well maintained, including the bathroom facilities. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The TV wasn't working, though, so I’m giving it four stars for now. They need to fix the signal.

We came from the UK and ended up staying seven nights instead of the two we first booked. The service from Manager, Tuanna and her staff was outstanding, so special thanks to them. The hotel is right across from Grand Bazaar and Beyazit Tram Stop, with Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) and plenty of other historic sights close by. Breakfast had a wide range of items. The area is busy, but that puts you close to everything. Staff were very responsive and took our preferences into account. For instance, they offered us some breakfast items that weren't available without charging us. For the price in 2022, it was a good hotel. The rooms are quite spacious and very well done in Turkish style, though they aren't the newest.

It's in a great spot by the T1 tram stop, handy for seeing the heart of Istanbul. Our room was lovely and really quiet. Breakfast wasn't the highlight, though the sesame seed bread was great, and so were the french fries. Having a restaurant right beside the hotel was convenient. We did have some trouble getting fluent information from the receptionist in English. It wasn't that their English was bad, we just struggled a bit to communicate smoothly.
