Vita Bella Resort & Spa

The room could use more space for things. There wasn't a desk or even a coffee table, which was our one real disappointment, though the balcony was great. The hotel's location makes it easy to walk to shops and restaurants, and the beach is wonderful, with clean water and all the facilities you might need. Service was fast and very good, even with fewer staff at the end of September when we stayed. The staff were friendly and well trained. The restaurant was okay, but we were disappointed that they didn't serve fish in the evenings, only a kebab menu.

This was my third visit to Vita Bella, and I'm sure we'll be back. We spent our time relaxing at the lovely beach deck and by the pool. The rooms are simple but clean and have what you need, the food is really good, the rosé is chilled, and the staff are lovely and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants just a two minute walk away. We also tried dinner at the hotel, which was new this year, and it was great.

We came with a large group for a wedding and booked our rooms well in advance, but the room arrangements were still wrong. One of us had to use a cot for the first night. The electricity only stays on when a key is in the room, which would be fine if reception gave us two keys. They didn't, so we had to leave our keys behind to keep the AC running or return to a scorching room. Each time we came back, reception had to let us in. The beds were small and very firm, and the bathroom stayed hot whatever we tried. The rooms themselves were okay. Staff were mostly friendly, but reception charged us for minibar items we hadn't used. The only reason to stay is the location, if you don't plan to spend much time there beyond sleeping. We all had high hopes, and I wish I had better things to say.

Lunch on the Bella Beach deck was a daily highlight for my friends and me. The food was delicious, and we loved sitting on the beachfront deck or by the beautiful pool, sunbathing and taking in the bay views. The hotel has comfortable rooms and friendly staff too. I came back to Vita Bella for the third time this April and will definitely book another trip next year. I'll be counting down the days until I can return.
