The welcome was warm, and the natural surroundings were beautiful. It was a lovely mix of excitement and peace, and I was impressed by the place. The people there are wonderful too. I’ll definitely come back.

The hotel looks great inside and out, and it’s clear a lot of care went into its design and construction. The way it’s managed and maintained, though, let our stay down badly. At check-in, the receptionist took a phone call and chatted while six of us waited. Then our three room cards hadn’t been programmed, so none worked and we had to return to the desk. :)) In room 202, some electrical sockets were loose with wires exposed, which didn’t feel safe with kids along. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, even in the bed. The safe was broken, and the shower switch didn’t work, so we couldn’t use the shower. There was no printed menu in the restaurant, only an online one in Turkish. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for us until 20 minutes after check-in, so we couldn’t access it at first, and several dishes weren’t available anyway. Most of the food was good, but one meat dish was so dry it wasn’t edible. My friend, who runs a hotel in Istanbul, pointed out its poor quality to the waiter. Instead of taking the feedback on board, he tried to convince us that it was meant to be that way. We had a bit of a laugh :)), and weren’t asking for our money back, just wanted the cook to know there was a problem. No luck there. This could be a really good place if the management approach changed. As things stand, it’s one star for us, and we won’t return. Thank you.

The people made the stay memorable, from the doorman right through to the top management. At ABANT LOTUS OTEL & RESTAURANT, I saw so many staff who were eager to help, sincere, and always smiling. Mr. H. Kahraman, Mr. E. Ozfidan, and the rest of the team deserve thanks for their wonderful management and service. Everything about the place felt beautiful and unforgettable, including the location and facilities. It was a real A plus experience, with care in all the little details as well as every other part of our stay. I feel lucky to have found such a treasure. Life is a journey, and we come across people and places that stay in our minds for years. This was one of them. I’d absolutely return and recommend this paradise to my friends and loved ones. The suite itself was nice, and our one-night stay was good in some ways, but a couple of issues made it hard to enjoy. We had paid online for a deluxe room, then upgraded to a suite on arrival. After checking in, we went out. When we returned, the curtain had fallen down. Reception said they couldn’t fix it until the next day, when we’d already be checking out, so we slept in a sunny room and didn’t rest well. I expected some compensation, but they didn’t seem concerned about whether we were satisfied. When we spoke to an employee, he said it wasn’t his problem and asked what we would do if the same thing happened at home. I didn’t understand why he asked that. After a lot of discussion, they reduced the price by 25%, then after further discussion increased the reduction to 50%. The other annoyance was that the water heater kept being turned off, so I had to call reception each time I wanted to shower.
