We stayed five days as two people, and the guesthouse’s only real plus was its location. The bathroom looked old and neglected, the sofa bed was stained and dirty, and the mini-fridge didn’t work. We asked a staff member to replace it. The place needs a full renovation and a proper clean. The staff were kind and friendly, which helped make up for some of the problems. 😔

The location was the main reason we booked at the last minute, and it’s very convenient, with a supermarket and restaurant just below. We liked the restaurant’s food and the friendly people there, and felt comfortable eating there. Breakfast service was good too, and the staff were friendly. We stayed one night on August 11th. The room was quite neglected and hadn’t been cleaned well. We brought our own sheets, and without them I don’t think I could have slept on the bed. There was also a lot of loud music in the evening.

For two nights, it was very good value. The location is great, and there’s no parking problem. The photos show a grassy seating area, but it isn’t there now. If you just need a place to stay, it works really well.

The reception staff were genuinely helpful and did their best to assist with everything. But the room had some serious cleanliness problems. I found hair in the bathroom and on the floors, which was upsetting. Cleanliness is a basic thing hotels and other accommodation really need to pay attention to.
