The arrival was already a bad start. My pregnant wife, our five-year-old son, and I had booked an “economy triple room,” but they put us in the basement, something the room description never mentions. It smelled damp and musty, almost moldy. We told the front desk as soon as we checked in, but they didn’t seem to care. They just said we’d booked an economy room, as if that meant we were second-class guests. We knew we’d booked economy, but hadn’t expected a humidity problem. They said the hotel was fully booked and offered neither a dehumidifier nor an air purifier. There was an air purifier in the basement hallway, so they seemed aware of the issue and still put guests down there. I looked online and saw rooms available for two people. Our son is five, so we could have made that work, but they didn’t try to help. My wife is pregnant and particularly sensitive to smells, which made it unpleasant for her. I checked the AC and saw dirty vents that didn’t look regularly cleaned. I waited until 9 pm to see if anyone would care, but no one did, so I’m spending a little time on this review instead. I added a picture of the vent.

The hotel is right in the heart of Alaçatı, with clean rooms, tasty food, and a great pool. The lovely people running it gave us the best service. Highly recommended!

Baran bey has always helped make our visits better and made sure we had a pleasant stay. The staff are incredibly kind, and I feel safe and at home there. We stay at this hotel whenever we come to Alacati. It’s right in the center and close to everything, but still quiet at night. I recommend it to all my friends, and they’ve been just as happy with it as I am.

The pool was great for sunbathing, the salads and pizza were delicious, and the Bemonti was ice cold. Breakfast was something else too. Ariel is only minutes from restaurants, bars, and gift bazaars, so it’s an easy place to stay in picturesque Alaçatı. The comfort, food, and hospitality were among the best in Alaçatı, and in most places in Turkiye. We’ve stayed in around 30 hotels over the past 10 years. Ariel was the first where the team turned a problem into a positive and even made a compulsive complainer like me a raving fan. Cihan bey and his crew were always there, whether it was a curtain that wasn’t working or the wifi speed, and they dealt with every request right away with a smile. When things go wrong on holiday, you expect the trip to be ruined. This team really went above and beyond. If you’re after an oasis in Alaçatı, choose Ariel. Do yourself a favour and stay there, then tell me if you liked it.
