Butik Ertur Hotel

I visited Ertur Hotel twice in 2025 and would happily stay again. There’s plenty of history and sights in the area. The hotel is about a thirty-minute walk from the center of Dogubeyazit, though minibuses stop right outside and get you into town in ten minutes. A pharmacy and supermarket are nearby, and there’s an electric car charging station in the courtyard. I liked the top-floor terrace overlooking Mount Ararat and the surrounding mountains. The rooms were clean and well kept, breakfast was filling with lots of choice, and the staff were kind and attentive. It felt calm and cozy.

Before our several-day Ararat climb, this hotel had what we needed to get ready: supermarkets nearby, a good breakfast, and an easy approach from the main road. There’s a great view of Ararat from the roof, too. The service was very friendly, and they spoke English.

We spent two nights here on vacation. The breakfast was very good, and the hotel bar has Efes beer. The rooms aren’t large, but there was enough space for the number of guests. The bathroom was clean, with a shower and hot water. There’s no air conditioning, though the window screens meant we could leave the windows open at night. It was a bit noisy: chickens, turkeys, and other birds in the backyard behind the hotel started early in the morning, and trucks on the nearby main road could be loud as well.

Really enjoyed my stay at Butik Ertur Hotel. It was super clean, the reception team and other staff were nice and friendly, and breakfast was good. Wifi is available in the lobby. Thank you!
