SRF Hotel

The view was nice, though opening the windows meant moving the bed. Service was fine, but the room itself was old, and water leaked in the bathroom. The key was so weak that it was hard to figure out how to lock the room. Breakfast had yesterday's fries, cheese, an egg, Nutella, pieces of simit, olives, tomato, cucumber, and tea. It felt a bit overpriced overall.

Breakfast was included, though the restaurant and food could have been better. For what we paid, though, I can't complain. It's a decent, no-frills hotel, and the receptionist was really friendly. We were on the third floor with quite a lot of luggage and, since there's no elevator, they helped us carry it.

We found this hotel by chance through an app, and being able to walk everywhere was easily its best feature. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though it had just one hard-to-find outlet for me and my friends to share. The bathroom drain was slow and could use some work. Mete abi was wonderful: he welcomed us, helped with our bags, and sorted out a misunderstanding with the other receptionist that day. I was really grateful to him. We still had a nice stay despite those small issues, about 3.5/5.

The staff were friendly, but the room was unbelievably dirty and badly maintained. Everything smelled of cigarettes, even the supposedly new blankets. I couldn't tell whether the blankets had been changed, and they had dirty marks on them; the towels were stained too. There was hair and grime in the bathroom from previous guests. Don't let the photos fool you. This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in.
