Peri Cave Hotel

Breakfast was the same every day, with no fruit, water, or juice, and very little variety. I also wouldn’t book the Green Tour or Red Tour through the hotel. They didn’t go to the promised places, and the guide seemed rushed the whole time. During my three-day stay, the room had no Wi-Fi, which was really inconvenient. When I asked about it, the night receptionist was rude and couldn’t give a proper explanation. The lighting was dim, the washbasin smelled strongly, some hanging bathroom fixtures were broken, and the room rugs weren’t clean.

The view from up here is a real highlight. You can see the whole valley, and the hot air balloons are visible right from the rooms in the morning. The staff are friendly, though they don’t speak or understand much English. Breakfast had plenty of options, too. A good budget hotel in a lovely spot.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty, even if the choices were limited. It’s a reasonable price for such a good location, with the balloons visible from the room and everything in Goreme within walking distance. The cave rooms are lovely, though the terrace room needs some maintenance. There isn’t regular housekeeping, but I think they would clean if you asked. Our washroom smelled really bad, but the place was otherwise clean and functional.

The staff were incredibly accommodating to our family, and the price is reasonable. The hotel is also close to just about everything in Göreme, with a quiet spot for watching the balloons in the morning. The room amenities could use work. There were no hooks for coats or towels, and using the shower left water all over the bathroom.
