Sam at the front desk is one of the best hotel staffers we’ve met anywhere, and the Adahan DeCamondo Pera is a striking building. The middle part of our six-night stay was excellent, but two problems made the trip much worse. The hotel never mentioned at check-in that there was a nightclub next door. On our first night the room was actually shaking, and we couldn’t sleep until after 3AM. They offered to move us, but only two floors up on the same side of the building, so it wouldn’t have fixed the noise. Our checkout was May 1, when the streets around the hotel are closed to vehicles. We only found out from a paper note the day before the holiday, far too late to plan a car to the airport. Since the hotel couldn’t guarantee road access that day, we had to leave a night early and move across the city at our own expense. They refused our refund request for the unused night, citing the cancellation policy, even though the situation was outside our control. A hotel at this level should disclose the nightclub when people book and give advance notice about predictable holiday road closures. The building is gorgeous and some of the staff are great, but poor communication cost us sleep, money, and an easy departure.

The service stood out from the minute we arrived. Samet and Emre at reception were welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable, and Samet helped us throughout the stay, including with our suitcases when we left. Many thanks as well to Samet, Emre, Aram, and everyone in the restaurant and cleaning crew for their hospitality. We spent six nights at Adahan DeCamondo Pera. The hotel is beautifully designed, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, with a clean, comfortable feel. The food was excellent, and we loved the pleasant scent throughout the hotel. It made the place feel especially nice every time we came in. This is now our favorite place in all of Istanbul, and we’ll absolutely be back many, many times. 🌸

The rooms are spacious, with cute interiors and a super comfortable bed. The rooftop terrace and rural restaurant on the top floor are great, with good views. I also got an amazing dinner recommendation from the gentleman who checked me in, and it turned out to be the most delicious meal I had in Istanbul. The front desk staff were the friendliest, most welcoming, and most helpful I’ve come across in the Istanbul hotels I’ve stayed in. Great location, and the price is right for what’s offered. Loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

The breakfast team and manager Adam made us feel very welcome, and Ali at the front desk made the stay even more memorable. I stayed at Adahan Decomondo from June 8 to 12, and the location, attentive staff, and service were the highlights. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, so it was easy to relax. The lobby could be a little bigger, but that didn’t take away from the quality of the stay. I highly recommend Adahan Decomondo for its location in Istanbul and a team that goes above and beyond to make guests feel special.

The location was perfect, in what’s probably my new favorite area in Istanbul. There are loads of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Samet at reception made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived and told us what we needed to know about the area. We also got a beautifully decorated corner room. The bed was super comfy, and breakfast was tasty and had a great selection. We loved our stay!
