One bright spot was breakfast with Naz and her cats in the garden. She speaks German and tried to give us whatever she had, as much as we wanted. She even came in early at 8 am instead of the usual time, which was after 9 am. We stayed five nights. The room was acceptable for the price, though the metal washbasin only had cold water and felt very outdated. The "garden view" was just a tiny patch of green below, if you were tall enough to see it. The reception staff seemed to be in a constant bad mood. They didn't help get our suitcases upstairs from the taxi, and took a long time several times to open the lobby door, which was kept closed.

We ended up here because we had our puppy with us for the day, and none of the other hotels in the area were accepting dogs at the time. It's a small two-star hotel, maybe one star, behind the Trump towers in sisli, just a few feet from where the city's slumbs start, so be very aware. Walking in, it felt more like a place for quickies than a full night's rest. The secondary lighting in the room was neon red, and the walls were so thin we could easily hear people in nearby rooms while the workers of the night were getting pounded away. The sheets were clean, but there were no drinks, only one towel, no washing material, and a run-down shower. The TV had a nice volume setting, maybe useful? Not for the faint-hearted, but if you want a place to rumble, this should do the trick.

It feels like a residence apartment, with all the facilities you'd have at home. The cleaning and service were both perfect, and it's a nice hotel.

Our taxi driver took one look at the area and advised us to stay elsewhere, then drove us to a better part of the city. This hotel is in a poor neighbourhood with a lot of policing, so be careful when planning a visit.

The staff were the one real bright spot, amazing enough that they're the only reason I'd recommend staying here. The area feels questionable, and the hotel itself is an interesting place.
