Agora Boutique-Hotel

We only stayed one night, but were welcomed warmly and given a lovely room with a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was included, and chef Susana helped us choose our dishes. After checking out, we could leave our things while exploring the city. When we came back and waited for a taxi, they offered us tea, and a nice old man at the hotel chatted with us.

I'm staying at the hotel now. We got connecting rooms and are happy with them, and the rooms are always kept clean. The tourist attractions are very close. At breakfast, Ms. Susana always welcomes us warmly, and the food she prepares is good and healthy for starting the day. The only problem is the nearby taxis, since they don't understand us and we don't understand them. So far, though, things seem good. It's raining today, but I'm enjoying the terrace view with my coffee.

Breakfast was a real highlight. The woman who served it said she made all the food herself, and it was delicious. She kept everything prepared and the dining area tidy, too. We ate on the terrace, with a lovely view of the water and part of Blue Mosque. I was in Room 301 for seven days while visiting Istanbul. The room had everything I needed, and the staff were all so kind. The hotel is close to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and both the location and room rate were excellent. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit.

The location is very convenient, in a safe area near the main sights, shops, restaurants and public transport, including trains, metro, trams and buses. The rooms are small but packed with useful things: air conditioning, a safe, wardrobe, mini-fridge, tea and coffee set, free water, soap, shampoo, good towels and a modern TV with loads of satellite channels. They clean every day, and the room feels almost new when you come back in the evening. Hot breakfast is included. Breakfast was let down by the instant coffee powder and lack of black tea. It’d also be nice if guests could get a discount at one of the nearby grocery shops or restaurants.
