The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety, and the price felt very reasonable for the quality. My room at Hotel Alfa was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were very friendly and ready to help. It's also well placed near public transport and the main tourist attractions. Great value for a comfortable, affordable stay in Istanbul, highly recommend.

We stayed here for just one night. The hotel was quiet and the service was good, but the breakfast room was loud.

Very poor experience. We arrived for a week-long booking made through a travel agent and found the hotel in bad condition, with dangerous exposed wires, as shown in the photo. We asked to cancel straight away and booked somewhere else. The desk worker told us to email the absent manager, which we did, and the travel agent did too, but the 'manager' never replied. It took a while to post this, but the review is accurate.

The fourth-floor balcony had a beautiful view, and breakfast was amazing. Rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent. I'd thoroughly recommend it to other travelers on a budget.

I booked at the last minute, and for a low-budget hotel it was okay. The service was good and it was quite clean. Breakfast was the same each morning and not good, and the juice machine was out of order, so we skipped it. The lift sometimes didn't work, and the spotlights on the stairs were quite slow.
