Please stay far away from this hotel. The photos on various websites are photoshopped. What you actually get is an old hotel with dirty carpets, sofas, towels, and bed sheets. At check-in, I found someone's hair on the floor and on a pillow. The AC in our room didn't work for the whole stay, even though it was 5-7 degrees outside at night. The receptionist promised to fix it, but nobody came, and we had to sleep in a cold room. The apartment also smelled as if somebody had smoked there nonstop for a couple of years. The toilet was broken and made the sound of running water all the time. Avoid booking this place. The only pleasant thing was a 30% discount on coffee, but with all those problems, we should have received it for free as compensation.

We loved our stay in Istanbul at Ali khan hotel. Elsa was lovely, and the service was wonderful. The location was the best in the entire city, with easy access to the metro and other popular sites.

The tram and bus stops are very close, which made the location ideal for us. I stayed for three nights with my family, and the owner was friendly and helpful.

Ali made the stay feel personal and warm. He was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, so we felt like valued guests instead of just tourists. The hotel itself is cozy and welcoming, and that homely feeling made our vacation memorable. We'd love to come back.

For our first time in Istanbul, this worked out perfectly. Ali Khan hotel is near Galata tower and Tophane tram station, so we could get around without having to climb too much. The manager was kind and went out of his way to make us comfortable. It's a good option for families, though there's no elevator. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it.
