Antea Hotel - Special Class

The spa and hamam were relaxing, well maintained, and such a good way to unwind. I could happily have used them every day. Many thanks to Muhammad Ali and Denis for their kindness and hospitality. They really made the stay better. At Antea Hotel, the rooms were lovely, clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept. Breakfast each morning had plenty of delicious options. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile. A wonderful place to stay in Istanbul, and I'd highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, but the rest of the experience was disappointing. The rooms are incredibly small, smell unpleasant, and the AC doesn't work properly. The gym and sauna were also letdowns, with the steam room out of service. The staff were unacceptably rude. The reception woman was overly nice while trying to sell activities, presumably for commission, but became very rude when we asked simple questions about the hotel. The night staff member with glasses was just as rude and unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Save your money and book somewhere else.

We changed rooms three times in one day, then decided to leave. The rooms were extremely small, smelled bad, and the AC didn't work properly. Very disappointing, not recommended. Choose another hotel.

The bed was so bad it felt like sleeping on the floor, and noise from the heater was very loud. You could hear everything happening outside. It was cold, the heat didn't work, and I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight. If you're tired and want to rest and have a good time, I wouldn't recommend this place. The hotel is old and the room is moldy and small, more like a cheap motel. The bathtub was nasty and covered in black mold. There was no shampoo or soap, and the towels were very outdated. I don't understand where the good reviews are coming from. Pretty disappointing.
