Artı Hotel OldCity

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Someone took a bottle of good whiskey from our room, but staff insisted nobody had taken anything. The hotel had cockroaches, which were being poisoned while we were there. We were cheated out of money. The place is old and the staff are disgusting. We paid three times, and after lunch they told us to pay again.

Cigarette smoke was everywhere in the room, and people smoked constantly. The room was in awful shape. They seemed to have tried to renovate the hotel, but it didn’t work. Just look at how clean the room is. Worst hotel in the world.

I felt sick at night from the cold cigarette smoke smell everywhere. The room was so hot that my nose bled, and it wasn’t clean. I heard girls having sex during the night, which I first brushed off as hotel noise, but at 6am a man woke me by shouting and banging on all the doors, trying to open them. It felt potentially unsafe. I’d booked two nonrefundable nights but left after just one. I wish I’d checked recent Google reviews. They seem to have changed since covid hit.

I booked this place by mistake, but went down to give it a try. OMG, it was the worst hotel I could imagine: bad smell, bad service, and angry staff. When we first arrived, the man at reception couldn’t speak English. A few minutes later, when we decided to leave, he suddenly spoke fluent English. Unbelievable.
