Sinem Hotel

Musleim at reception and the housekeeper were the reason I’m giving this place five stars. They were both so kind, polite, and helpful. The price is affordable, and it’s just five minutes from the main street. Breakfast was the same each day and could use more variety. Some rooms are small, and there was a little noise once during my nine-day stay, which seemed fair for this price. I also found it hard to communicate with some of the other staff, probably because of the language barrier. I’d definitely stay again if those two staff members are still working. #Inst : HAKYFRANCE

The staff made this stay memorable, everyone was cheerful, helpful, and welcoming from check-in through checkout. I especially want to thank Mohamud. Your generosity and professionalism really stood out. In my opinion, Sinem Hotel & Old City is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting. Thanks to everyone for such a pleasant stay!

Breakfast was tasty, with nice bread, ham, and cheese, enough to get the day started. Everyone was friendly, and they let us leave our bags for a few hours. The room could have been a bit cleaner, but it was still comfortable to sleep in. It’s also easy to get around with luggage. I’d recommend it.

The rooms were tiny, with beds measuring 70x200cm and equally small toilets. We had three people in one room, with a sliding bathroom door and no bathroom key. There was only one key for the three of us, which was ridiculous. We were six girls split between two rooms, and asked for another door card, but the receptionist wouldn’t give us one and said we could leave the key at reception. That made it impossible to coordinate coming and going if one person stayed behind while others went out. The windows were in poor condition, so outside noise came right through. There were no mirrors and the lighting wasn’t normal. The shower water sometimes came out cold and weak, and took 5-10 minutes to warm up. Breakfast was the same for all six days, served in the lobby beside the reception desk. The staff were very unfriendly, and their English was basically zero. Not worth it, and I won’t be back.
