We arrived during the busy year-end period and found ourselves with nowhere to stay: the hotel had canceled our Expedia reservation without telling us beforehand. At first, the staff said they didn't know why. Expedia later confirmed the cancellation came from the hotel. The staff said it wasn't their responsibility and made no effort to help us find somewhere else. Be careful if you’re counting on having a room when you arrive.

Faruk was especially helpful and friendly, and the staff in general were polite and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We found the hotel clean, with great facilities, and the location made it easy to get to the main attractions. We had an amazing stay and would happily return. Highly recommend it.

The location is great, and the staff were friendly, but the rooms looked a little worn. Our air conditioning broke and no one seemed in much of a hurry to fix it, so we couldn't sleep. It's a shame, since more care with the details and workmanship could make this hotel really good. Hopefully they improve things for future guests.

The staff were polite and respectful, but the stay itself fell well below what I expected, and I wouldn't recommend the hotel. My room was below the building, near the fuel storage, warehouse, and laundry room. It had no natural light and felt dark and unpleasant, and the location raised health and safety concerns. The hot water was inconsistent, which made washing uncomfortable at times. The phone didn't work, the refrigerator was completely out of order, and the air conditioning kept switching on and off randomly. I couldn't control it, even after I contacted the staff.

Some of the receptionists tried to help, while others seemed not to care. We even got locked out when the receptionist went upstairs and locked the door. There wasn't a doorbell to ring. Breakfast wasn't free, either. We booked after reading the reviews, but the hotel was being renovated during our stay, and the room had damage all over. The lights barely worked, the shower head leaked, and the bathroom was mouldy and not fit for purpose. The air conditioners were so loud we could hardly sleep. Our bedding wasn't changed once in eight days. The TV was ancient and didn't work. When we asked someone to check it, we were told there was no aerial. The fridge was more like a cooler, so we couldn't keep food or cold drinks in it. On the ground floor, the shower had no water pressure. There were too many problems to list.
