Avlonya Hotel

The rooms were clean, and the temperature was comfortable with good air conditioning. We got fresh water every day and sweets once. But the linen wasn't changed during our seven days, and the sound insulation is practically nonexistent. We could hear people talking, TVs, doors banging, and constant beeping from the elevator. The beeping could be stopped in five minutes, and the doors could be made not to slam. Guests should be able to talk or watch TV without disturbing their neighbors. For a hotel aiming for three stars, these seem like basic things to address. Bring earplugs and plenty of lorazepam. The location is excellent, just minutes from Yenikapi metro station. From there you can take a train or metro to anywhere in Istanbul, and the airport connection by bus or metro is good. Breakfast is basic and the same every day, but you won't go hungry. Don't expect scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, or juice. There's coffee, tea, and enough to make a sandwich. All in all, it could be a fantastic hotel if the noise between rooms and the corridor were fixed. You get what you pay for, so I do recommend it, with the earplugs.

For a 3-star hotel, it's very good for the price. I had everything I needed to sleep comfortably in the room: it was quiet, clean, comfortable, and had AC. The reception manager was the best part, respectful and kind.

We got a sea view from our room, and the accommodation price was favorable. My wife and I chose this hotel by accident through Booking com, and it turned out to be a complete hit. The place is very clean, the staff are friendly, and the location is perfect. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were cleaned daily, and the air conditioning worked. We'd recommend it to everyone.

The sea view was nice, and the cleaning lady was really nice too. She cleaned our room every day. The rooms were okay, and it was cheap and cheerful. Breakfast was below average, so most of the time we went out for breakfast instead.
