The area made day-to-day things easy, with grocery shops and local markets nearby, and the main metro station about a 15-minute walk away. Our room was cleaned daily, the towels were changed, and the place felt cleaner than average. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with bread, two cheeses, omelets, jam, honey, olives, ham, tomatoes, pickles, and Turkish tea. The Wi-Fi was fast and dependable, which mattered since we had no SIM cards. We stayed eight days with a friend, and Yusuf was a huge help the whole time. His suggestions led us to some great local spots, and when we arrived to find it a bit cold, he brought us a powerful heater. For our Istanbul trip, this turned out to be a really good choice. I’d recommend it if you want a local feel and helpful staff.

Owners are genuinely friendly, and the breakfast was very good. I was on a motorcycle trip, and they arranged secure parking around the corner. A very nice place to stay.

While I was in Istanbul and heading to the hotel, they messaged me on WhatsApp just after I had booked and pressured me to cancel because they had accepted another reservation. They didn’t even try to find another option for me. The customer service was awful. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you don’t want your holiday disrupted by a cancellation.

It was peaceful here, with no noise, and the central location worked well. Parking was a five-minute walk away, and the hosts could help us find a spot. The food was very good and everything was impeccably clean. The hosts were attentive, answered our questions, and even put together day-by-day itineraries tailored to us. We felt at home, thank you!

For the price, this was great value. The rooms were decent, clean, and quiet, and there’s a good Indian restaurant nearby. You can walk to the main sights, while bakeries and a supermarket are also easy to find close by. The staff were kind and helpful with breakfast and advice on getting around. They also stepped in when we had trouble with a taxi driver who was overcharging us, and helped with the car rental service, where the staff mostly spoke Turkish, which we don’t.
