Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, varied, delicious food and a beautiful Bosphorus view from the terrace. Our rooms were clean and well maintained, and the owner and staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to help with every request. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily return. We were close to Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cisterns, Topkapi Palace, and the former hippodrome. The havaist-11 bus stop is just a few minutes away for getting to and from the IST airport, and public transport connects to the rest of Istanbul. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, though many are quite similar, so you may want to go farther afield to explore the local food. The staff were incredible and took great care of us. When I got sick, they asked my family how I was doing and checked on my recovery the next day. The room was small, but immaculate. Breakfast was a feast every morning, with something for everyone. We often weren’t hungry by lunchtime! We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

The location made exploring Istanbul easy, with major sights, bazaars, and transport links all within convenient reach. Breakfast was fresh and varied, a great start before heading out. Ayasofya Hotel felt like a warm welcome from the moment we checked in. Everything was impeccably clean, from the rooms to the shared areas, and clearly looked after with care. The staff’s kindness felt natural, like being welcomed by family. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they left us smiling every time.

Ali was so nice and really helped make our hotel experience top-notch. The staff were friendly, supportive, and made us feel valued. On my last night, they even offered me a room upgrade at the same price. The hotel is in a quiet spot, about a 10-minute walk from Hagia Sophia, with a sea-view terrace on top and plenty of restaurants nearby. It’s also close to all the important sites.
