Beethoven Senfoni Hotel

The breakfast was excellent: made-to-order eggs and omelettes, fresh pancakes and waffles, plus fruit, cheeses, vegetables, and salads. It had a good view and was good quality, though it became repetitive over a week. The bathroom was nice, and once we had a working room, it was comfortable. Safiya and Beddretin were apologetic, friendly, and sweet. The partner hotel's pool was quiet, warm, and calming. The spa itself is just a steam room and sauna, and the 'Hammam' is a room where you bring your own soaps and do it yourself. Those facilities are free only until 6pm. Since we booked through booking, they said we could use the pool until 10pm; otherwise, it is also only available until 6pm. The first night was a mess. Our AC was broken, and after we reported it in the afternoon, they sent us to their partner hotel across the street at midnight. No other room was ready until the next afternoon, though we were staying for a week. A technician also came at 11pm and climbed on the room furniture to check the ceiling vent while we were in the room. The handling was extremely poor, with no compensation for the first night or for giving us a room the next day. When I asked the manager for a refund or compensation, he mocked me in the lobby. The manager (agha) was extremely disrespectful, and the owners' ignorance and behavior left me with mixed feelings. Booking was able to offer a refund after I explained what happened, and I hope it came out of the hotel's pocket. If nothing goes wrong, you may have a good stay, but they're bad at solving problems. The owner's attitude was horrible and, to me, a disgrace to Turkish people. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. There are many other places to take your business. In short, horrible owner, no problem-solving skills, good breakfast, go somewhere else.
