Carina Gold Hotel

The location is fantastic, just a few minutes from the tram, and walkable to some subway stations and main trade areas. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops around. The hotel was nice and clean, with a delicious breakfast menu, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd 100% recommend it and definitely choose it again on my next trip to istanbul!

Carina Hotel has been our best stay in Istanbul so far, and this was our fifth trip to Sultanahmet. It’s newly renovated, nicely set up, and in a great spot away from the busy streets and loud mosque prayers. Our room was clean, and housekeeping did a superb job taking care of what guests need. Breakfast was wonderful too, with great service. A special thanks to Mr. Hallil for communicating so well, helping us with metro directions, and being professional. Mr. Burhan welcomed us warmly, gave us a Metro card so we could get going, and was always kind and respectful. Thanks to the management for such a superb, awesome team, especially Mr. Hallil and Mr. Burhan, and for the hospitality and support.

The team really went out of their way to help with whatever we needed, and they were friendly, professional, and full of useful advice. Communication before arrival was great, too. We loved the clean, modern hotel and its roomy guest rooms. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, and the location worked perfectly for us. We’d happily come back.

A solid, standard four-star hotel, with nothing to surprise or disappoint you. They let us check in early and kept our bags for a few days before we arrived, while we were traveling around the country. Hotel standards in Istanbul can be lower than in many Western destinations, so if you want a proper hotel stay with professional staff, this is a good option.
