The restaurant had a beautiful view, and the staff were kind, friendly, and very helpful throughout our four-night stay. We’d just returned from the hotel and really liked how close it was to Istanbul’s main attractions. Breakfast filled us up, though a few more choices would have been nice.

We had clean rooms, good service, and a very nice Turkish breakfast. The hotel is in Istanbul’s old quarter, with Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Basilica cistern, and Tokapi palace all within walking distance. There are also good Turkish restaurants and carpet wholesalers nearby. The location is the main reason to stay here. I’d choose it over somewhere else.

Breakfast was mostly fresh and delicious, though the hot buffet dish was cold. Our room was comfortable, even if it looked bigger in the photos. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel sits in a quiet spot by the Marmara Sea, a short walk from the center of Sultanahmet. From the Seaview Room, I had the best view of my whole time in Istanbul.

The staff were lovely, and the location was convenient. Yilsam Sultanahmet Hotel feels cozy, with clean but small rooms and a sea view from the window. Breakfast was delicious.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and arranged a very affordable ride to the IST airport for our departure. We had a wonderful room with a sea view, and breakfast was delicious. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Bazaar, and public transport are all within walking distance. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Istanbul.
