Delta Hotel Istanbul

When I tried to photograph what looked like a small chicken coop or house on the property, a staff member came over to confront me. She was so aggressive that I felt intimidated, and I walked away after she insisted on checking what was happening. The staff's behavior made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable through our stay. They treated guests aggressively and unprofessionally, almost like a gang instead of hotel employees. We were taken to a strange elevator inside a room instead of the main elevator, then told we weren't allowed to use it and had to take the stairs. It was confusing and poorly handled. I contacted Trip.com about the problems, but the property is still operating on the platform despite my complaint. One of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I've had. I wouldn't recommend it to other travelers.

The malls, mosque and humam were all within walking distance, and the food was great. I was happy eating the same thing for all 12 days. I felt safe throughout my stay, and give this hotel 10s across the board. Having been to Istanbul before, I was a bit scared because of my last experience, but this time I was a solo Black traveler who doesn't speak Turkish. Thank you, guys.

The location was good, and I could get to most tourist sites. But the room was so cramped I could barely walk around, and the walls were dirty. The bathroom lights didn't work, and there was no tea or coffee in the room. The manager was rude and had an attitude when I asked questions, and wasn't helpful.

The staff were outstanding and went out of their way to make sure everything was right. My room was spotless and well-equipped, and the bed was really comfortable. I had an excellent stay at Delta Hotel. Highly recommended!
