Demiray Hotel

Emre, Nur, and Efes were especially kind and helpful. We enjoyed the little pool, gym, and spa, and having a restaurant overlooking the city was a real treat. The location was great for the shops, trams, and ferry and boat trips. Amazing hotel, and we’ll definitely come back!

It’s very centrally located, which is handy if you’re visiting Istambul for the first time. Getting a taxi right to the door can be tricky because the street is narrow, though it usually works out. A special thank you to Ugur, Merta (reception), Erhan (spa), and Serdat (restaurant). Their exceptional service and personal warmth made our stay memorable. We’d gladly recommend the hotel and come back whenever we get the chance.

We found the location handy for walking to the port and nearby busy streets, though coming back uphill takes some effort. There’s a police station right across the street, which added to the feeling of safety. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, varied food and a lovely Bosphorus view from the rooftop terrace. The hotel itself felt warm and well cared for. Staff offered us tea while we waited for our room, and when a small bathroom problem came up, they quickly moved us to another room. We also had a freshly made club sandwich at the restaurant, served with friendly attention. A comfortable place to stay, with that rooftop view making a real difference.

Mustapha deserves a special mention. He was always smiling, professional, and clearly cared about making things go smoothly. The rest of the team were kind and quick to help whenever we needed something, which made the stay a real pleasure. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the main landmarks. I’m very happy with my stay at Demiray Hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
