Divani Ali Hotel

We spent three days here as a family, and all of us got bitten by bedbugs. After we got home, we saw a doctor who confirmed they were bedbug bites. Our room wasn't cleaned at all during those three days, and the bathroom was old and dirty. Breakfast came on a single plate with one egg and a few other things. The hotel was so dirty that if zero stars were an option, I'd give it zero.

Getting to the room was a problem from the start: its door wouldn't open because of signal issues, and no one fixed it until a whole day had passed. They didn't offer us another room, only said none were available. Even the lobby was uncomfortable, with just four awkwardly spaced chairs, two by reception and two beside the elevator. The room itself had cracks all over the floor and mold by the shower, which seemed like a health hazard. The shower head wouldn't stay mounted, the sink gave almost no room for toiletries, and the badly designed wardrobe couldn't fit more than a couple of garments properly. A curtain divides the sleeping area, but it doesn't close right in the dressing area, leaving the bed in view when it's open. The elevator barely fits two people. The terrace was chaotic, too, and the website didn't say the whirlpool only opens from June onward. The shower water was usually cold. Breakfast was another letdown: hard bread that seemed a day old on several mornings, and once we were told there was none left. Many other items tasted stale, and hot milk made cereal unpleasant. We heard other guests complain as well. The TV had no streaming options, not Netflix or YouTube. Staff changed every day. One person was friendly and helpful, but most were disorganized and dismissive. They kept pushing complaints to the next day, making promises without taking action. The photos speak for themselves. We can't understand why it is rated a 4 Star Hotel or gets some good ratings. It wasn't worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it. Breakfast was poor, service unreliable, and the whole stay disappointed from beginning to end. I'd give zero stars if I could.

The room I was given was in an unacceptable condition, with cleanliness and upkeep far below any reasonable hotel standard. I'm deeply disappointed and have serious concerns about its hygiene and maintenance.

The rooms were spotless, and every staff member was kind and really helpful. The hotel is also close to the tourist sights and a tram stop that connects you everywhere. Thanks so much, I had a great stay.
