Elisa Hotel

There’s no parking lot, so you have to park on the street. On our first night, we were told our booked room had been taken and put in a different one, just 2x2 meters. It had no hot water, though the air conditioning worked and kept it warm. The next night, in the room we had booked, the air conditioning didn’t work, the heating had a problem, and there was no hot water again. Staff asked us to wait 15-20 minutes while they tried to fix the heating, or said they would move us. In the end they put us in a third room. The air conditioning worked there, but again there was no hot water. None of the rooms had clean bathrooms, there were sockets sticking out, and there weren’t enough blankets. Breakfast was the same each morning: coffee or tea, a boiled egg, two slices of yellow cheese, two olives, one cherry tomato, and a few fried potatoes. Across four days, we had hot water for about 30 minutes a day. We spoke to staff every day, but they just shrugged and smiled without helping. It seemed like some kind of scheme: sometimes the water was lukewarm when we talked to them, then they would stop it again. It wasn’t worth the money to be without hot water and heating.

It’s a good value hotel, and this wasn’t our first time staying here. Each visit, the staff have treated us really well. The location is good if you’re after an inexpensive hotel, and everyone at reception was helpful, polite, and friendly. I’d recommend it for the price. Special thanks to Seyfullon.

I’d give Elisa more than five stars if I could. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made this stay feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Truly amazing.

Right in the middle of the action, so the location worked really well. The staff clearly cared about the hotel, too. A very good spot, and I’d recommend it.
