Flamingo Konaklama

I stayed here for two weeks, and there were both good and bad points. The bed and mattresses were comfortable, the furniture was new and modern, and the room was clean with good air conditioning. Breakfast was tasty and cost 100 TL per person, or 6€. There’s a restaurant in the hotel, and the staff were polite and friendly. They spoke English, Turkish, French, and Arabic. Some rooms have a sea view and jacuzzi, and there’s a smart TV with Android. Internet worked well on the first and second floors, but was poor on the third and fourth, especially in room 401. Some receptionists were unprofessional, and the room cleaning service was weak. The bathrooms were very small, and laundry was expensive.

I stayed for three nights and had a few problems. The room wasn’t cleaned, and they don’t clean rooms daily. There was no hot water for a shower, and although I asked for a non-smoking room, the one they gave me smelled of smoke.

The manager was especially helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable, and gave me some great recommendations. The rest of the staff were fantastic too. I was in town for work meetings over a long weekend and used the hotel as a base to explore the area. The location and price both worked well for me, and I’m glad I chose it over similar priced hotels nearby. I’d book here again, thank you.

We had a breakfast misunderstanding on the morning of May 17, 2023. I thought breakfast was included, but it turned out we had to pay. The staff on duty saw that I was in a hurry and let us go with smiles. We called the next day to arrange for someone to pay, and hoped everything was okay. Sorry about the mix-up, and as our daughter Amira said, next time we’ll bring something sweet. Everything else was great. Mr. Ferat with glasses cleaned the room, I think that’s his name, and the receptionists were very good and never said no. The hotel is close to shopping, the park, the center, and tourist spots. We recommend it with confidence. Thanks for making us feel so welcome.
