The only thing I struggled with was the many stairs between the hotel and the main street 🤪 Though a little exercise doesn't hurt 😁 Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and had no complaints. The staff were respectful and polite, the rooms very clean, and the service excellent. Breakfast had a varied buffet with different dishes each day, so it didn't repeat during our week's stay. The hotel is also well placed for tourist spots, metro and bus stations.

We landed late, but check-in was easy even after midnight, and someone is available around the clock if you need anything. The service was good, and breakfast was a lovely spread of traditional Turkish food. Our room was clean, just small. Getting our suitcases up the steep stairs to the entrance was a bit of a challenge.

I was traveling alone to Istanbul for the first time and booked at the last minute because I found a good deal. I stayed four nights and, aside from the breakfast issue, had a good experience. The hotel and room were clean, the location was convenient for walking to Taskin, and the bus stop was nearby. The receptionists I met were polite, and one helped carry my luggage upstairs. There are quite a lot of stairs up and down around the hotel. I didn't mind them personally, but they could be tough for older guests or anyone with knee trouble. Breakfast was the part I disliked. I don't like feeling watched while I eat. They first told me I couldn't take breakfast to my room and had to eat downstairs. I was fine with that until I saw other people collect their food and take it upstairs. When I tried, the cook and another man stopped me. I asked why they wouldn't let me do the same when others had. Being observed every time you eat is uncomfortable. They shouldn't control how people eat or how much food they put on their plates. I'd recommend this place to a younger person who doesn't mind stairs or the breakfast situation. Otherwise, find somewhere that lets you take breakfast to your room.

The stairs are steep, so this may be difficult for older people or anyone with leg problems. I got used to the walk, though, and the bus stop at the top made it easy to get around the city. I stayed about a week and had a good stay overall. The staff were friendly, housekeeping came daily, and the receptionist spoke several languages. The air conditioning and WiFi were good. I did think it was odd that evening water cost extra.
