Grand Makel Hotel Topkapi

The room cleanliness and hospitality were above what I expected, and staff handled my requests promptly and courteously. From arrival, I felt welcome and well looked after. Everyone showed warmth, professionalism, and care with the details, and they consistently went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. The atmosphere reflects real pride in the work. I’m deeply grateful to the team for making my stay truly exceptional and unforgettable.

The room was spacious and had a lovely view, and I had a really nice time in Istanbul. The staff made the experience especially good. They were helpful and greeted every request with a smile. Mr Engin in the restaurant was lovely, and so were Mahmud at the front desk, Uguru in the lobby, and really all of them.

I was tired, so I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot and was good. When I called for more water, they quickly brought bottles to my room. Breakfast the next morning had something for everyone. The front door and desk staff spoke several languages, and their English was good. It’s a very professionally run business, and I had a great stay. I’ll recommend it and stay again on my next visit or holiday.

Grand Makel was clean, beautiful, and quiet, and it was a pleasure to stay here. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated Mahmud, a charming, kind, and friendly guy who deserves recognition and respect. The catering staff were amazing too. There was a bit of a language barrier, but they understood what I needed, and the food was nice. I’m happy to recommend this hotel to my friends visiting Istanbul. Thanks to all the staff.
