Hotel Inter Istanbul

A good option if you spend most of your time out exploring. Our room had no view and was just for sleeping, but the area felt quiet and safe, with the tram station two minutes away. The Blue Mosque was a 15-minute walk or less. They cleaned and tidied the room every day, the toilet was clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and breakfast was good.

The bed was much too soft for me, and after three nights my back was hurting a bit. Still, I’d give the place 5/5. The room felt a little old but was clean, as was the bathroom. It’s in a quiet, safe area, the price was good, and the gentleman at reception and the kitchen lady were both very nice.

Breakfast was hearty, with tea, coffee, juice, yogurt, dried fruit, bread, simit, borek, sausages, scrambled eggs, fries, meatloaves, fruit, and more. The room was alright, though it could have used a bit more cleaning. We stayed with family in late April 2019 and found it quite pleasant. The hotel is near the Beyazit-Grand Bazaar tram stop, which was handy. Since Beyazit has lots of wholesale merchants, the area gets busy during the day. The building is about four storeys tall, and breakfast is served in the basement. There’s a lift, but it only fits four passengers at once, which was okay. The staff were friendly and hospitable. We had a booking issue when we arrived, but reception and the manager, Mr. Latif, sorted it out quickly. I’m sorry I’ve forgotten the receptionist’s name.

Kind and helpful staff, a clean room, and a tasty breakfast all helped make our five days in beautiful Istanbul a great time.
