The beds were really comfortable, and the rooms feel very luxurious. It’s a lovely little find on a street with a great view and good food. Service can be slow, though they do respond well when you ask for something.

The people here are what made the stay for me. Everyone was so helpful and generous with their time and advice. Mr Maher arranged everything perfectly, and Mr Mustafa and Mr Cengiz also deserve a special thank you. We asked for a late checkout and they approved it, even though it was off season. That kind of care made us feel valued, and this is easily one of our favorite Istanbul hotels. The rooms were clean, pleasant, and well organised, with fascinating views over the city’s history and design. The location was great too. Breakfast had croissants, scrambled eggs, sliced meat and mortadella, along with everything else you’d want in the morning. Walking around the city was an experience in itself. The monuments and mosques bring its history to life, while the streets between the Bazaar and the spice bazaar are full of faces, smells, and colors that leave you speechless.

Hotel Les Othman sits in the posh Nişantaşe district of Istanbul, in a palace on the Bosphorus that’s been turned into a small boutique hotel. The architecture and interior mix Othman and French styles, with chic, grand decor. There are high ceilings on the ground floor, suites on the first floor, and the owner has equipped the second floor. The spa and banquet hall are downstairs in the basement. The setting is a big part of the appeal. There’s a stunning embankment, a beautiful garden, and a pool overlooking the Bosphore. The conservatory houses a French restaurant with views across the pool and Bosphor. The pool is a lovely place to relax in the sun and look out over the Bosphorus. The Royal Suite is especially striking, with two floors and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Bosphorus. The other suites are elegant and luxurious, each with its own color scheme. It’s a quiet, relaxing, elegant atmosphere, with a warm welcome. The clientele are rich and posh, looking for a hideaway. Service is great, and the suites have an elegant butler in a black three-piece Spencer suit. The food is tasty and well chosen, and the presentation is grand. The concierge is amazing for recommendations and reservations at Istanbul’s best and harder-to-book posh places. It isn’t cheap, but it’s worth every penny. I just loved it, especially the outdoor restaurant. A must visit if you want to get a taste of the place.
