This is simple, functional accommodation, but the owner really puts in the effort to make your stay a good one. The beds are comfortable, the AC works great, and I always had hot water for a good shower. It’s not posh, and nightlife nearby can be loud, as you’d expect for the area. After walking around the sights all day, you’ll sleep. Enjoy!

I chose this hotel because I was traveling with two dogs and it was one of the few pet-friendly places nearby. With just five days before a long flight, I had to sort out their documents and find an airplane carrier. I’m not sure how I’d have managed without Mert, the hotel administrator. It was a difficult trip, and he helped us so much. Thank you very, very much! The room was clean. There are lots of bars in the neighborhood, so it can get noisy, though that also makes it a great place to go out. Istanbul is such an interesting city, and I’d love to come back.

Mert at reception was the highlight, super friendly and helpful. The hotel’s in a great location, with comfortable, clean rooms, good beds and quiet, efficient air conditioning. We paid around 80€ for two rooms, which felt like a very decent price. Breakfast is served at the cozy Ada Cafe right across from the entrance. Only real drawback was the bar underneath the hotel, which was quite noisy.

I’ll definitely book this hotel whenever I’m in Turkey. It’s just a minute from Istiklal and five minutes from Galata Tower, and the hospitality was among the best I’ve had. They even offer coffee with a piece of Turkish delight for free. The place was clean, the service and care were lovely, and breakfast was the most delicious Turkish food.
