The calm, pleasant atmosphere made our stay in Istanbul comfortable, and everything felt smooth, organized, and respectful. What stood out most was the service: the reception team were professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful, handling every request kindly and efficiently. Mr. Ozrug deserves a special thank you for his hospitality, professionalism, and positive attitude. He made our visit especially memorable and represents the spirit of Nostalji Hotel Avcılar well. We’d gladly return whenever we’re in Istanbul and recommend it to anyone looking for warm hospitality and excellent service.

It was an awful night. The room was tiny, very dirty, and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We’d booked a room and even came to check it beforehand, but the staff changed their minds, leaving us stuck in a much smaller one. The sheets were filthy and had cigarette burns, and the bathroom was so cramped it was hard to move around. We were a little late because a traffic accident had brought Istanbul to a standstill, which wasn’t our fault. The staff were rude and seemed greedy, trying to cancel our booking or charge us more.

The service was excellent, the treatment was very nice, and the room rent was very good. Room 101 was booked under Muhammad al-Hallaq.
