La Vita Galata

We got a very decent price, and the location was great, right by the metro line, tünel station, and Galata tower. When we called after arriving, someone greeted us right away and showed us to the room. It was clean, the bed was comfy, and the AC worked well. Our only problems were poor shower drainage and hot water that kept coming and going. Otherwise, we had a great 2 day stay.

We spent a week here. The place was clean and cute, and the owner was very helpful. The location is really SUPER. We’ll come back.

The service was good. As for cleanliness, all I can say is it’s an excellent place.

The room smelled bad, the beds weren’t okay, the lighting wasn’t okay, and there was a problem with the hot water. My room was on the 3rd floor, and there’s no elevator, so be ready to carry your luggage. The worst part was finding the place: it’s not really a hotel, just a ghost room in some random building. There was no sign or clue, and nobody nearby seemed to know about it. The number on the booking wasn’t answering, so I waited an hour until someone helped me and the guy finally picked up. Worst hotel so far. Never book this, please. Stay away.
