The location was fine, and the staff were nice. Breakfast was okay, but my room was dirty and the ceiling was falling onto my bed. When we arrived there was no hot water, and later the water stopped altogether. They fixed it quickly, but having that happen while you're in the shower is unpleasant.

The location near Aksaray tram station and a few minutes from the metro was fine. The hotel itself was dirty, with broken things and odd fixes, like a leather toilet seat. Breakfast was the same every day and didn't even include eggs. Horrible. Places like this shouldn't be operating.

It's a cheap hotel, but the bathroom was falling apart and breakfast was a disaster. The woman serving it was trying her best, so I don't blame her. For Istanbul, I'd spend 10-20 euros more and get a good hotel.

The location is good, but the hotel itself was horrible. Staff barely speak English and seemed irresponsible and uninterested in helping. There's no shower cabin in the bathroom, and rooms aren't cleaned daily unless you beg reception.

LAL HOTEL is a really nice, safe place to stay while visiting ISTANBUL. The location is top notch, with nearby attractions within walking distance, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend it!
