Laluna Suite Apart

We spent one night, then left the next day because the place was dirty and smelled awful. We didn't ask for a refund, but he still told Booking we hadn't shown up. Now we can't even post a Booking review to warn people how disgusting it was. The worst experience ever. If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd give. Please don't choose this place.

We arrived for our first night and left the next morning. The room was in terrible shape, with mold everywhere and an awful smell. The manager then reported to Booking that we hadn't shown up and cancelled the booking. The behavior was the worst. I don't recommend it at all. Please don't book here, it's a scam!

We stayed for a week and didn't cook, since food out there is cheap. Our room was number 400, slightly more than 50 steps up. It was clean and there were no bed bugs. For a 2 star hotel, it was spacious, with two full sofas to relax on. The streets around it can be steep, so pushing a baby stroller wouldn't be ideal unless you're very fit. It's near the main sights, though we took the T1 when we were too tired to walk.

Fatih made our short visit to Istanbul much easier. He carried two of our big suitcases to the 3rd floor, gave us a map, and explained what we could do with the little time we had. When my father asked for help with four suitcases the next day, Fatih carried the heavy ones while I was away. They also let us check out a little late because our return flight was to Bangladesh. We stayed one night with my parents and wife. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, fitting 5-6 people, and the AC, shower, and kitchen all worked well. Everything was maintained to a high standard. Laluna is conveniently placed for all kinds of tourists, close to the Grand Bazaar and a 3 min walk from the tram station. The staff were cordial and hospitable, and it was a memorable, welcoming stay. I'd strongly recommend it.
