I've stayed here a few times and have always been well looked after. The service is amazing, the staff are brilliant, and manager Mehmet is an absolute legend. Highly recommend it to everyone. It definitely won't disappoint.

The view is a big reason to stay here. Our room looked out on Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Bosporous, which was fabulous by day and night. The historic parts of Istanbul are easy to explore from this spectacular location. As others have said, it feels more like budget accommodation than a four-star hotel. Breakfast was bare bones compared with other places. We were the only guests during the off-season, so I suspect they weren't keeping everything stocked.

We came back to Hotel Lousos twice during our tour of Turkey because it was such a good place to stay. The rooms were clean and nice, breakfast was delicious, and free wi-wi was available. The staff were fantastic and happy to help with anything. Serdar at reception always greeted us with a smile, was polite, and checked that we were enjoying ourselves. He was ready to help with whatever we needed. The tram is a three-minute walk away and can take you around Istanbul. The hotel also offers a shuttle to and from the airport. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace are all very close. There's a large parking station on the side street, and its attendants were fantastic, so parking wasn't a worry. We had a lovely time, and the service was excellent. The room we stayed in was a little 😫. Great spot for getting to the Blue Mosque and nearby sights.

It's near the tram stations, bazaar and Blue Mosque, which is the main plus. This is a budget hotel, though Google wrongly lists it as four stars. If you want somewhere to sleep and bathe on a budget, it may suit you. You have to ask before they'll provide water, paste or a brush.
