The room was comfortable in this recently built hotel, though a little small. It worked well, had a lovely view, and we could just make out the Bosphorus in the distance. The location was convenient, a five-minute walk from the metro and Taksim Square. We got a warm welcome at reception and an upgrade through my husband's Marriott Platinum status. The complimentary non-alcoholic minibar and in-room treats were a thoughtful welcome. The one real drawback was the demolition work next door, which we hadn't been told about. We were out during the day so it didn't affect us too much, but the noise echoed and the vibrations were noticeable. We enjoyed our stay.

Coming back to Istanbul after about 20 years had me impatient to see it again, and the city has changed, mostly for the better. Our stay at the Lokalist was just perfectly perfect 😜. The rooms were great and the location was perfect, but the staff made it feel like home. They were so welcoming and keen to make us comfortable. A special super star to Serdem, the guest experience manager, who arranged a wonderful welcome. I strongly recommend the hotel and the destination. We'll be back ❤️❤️❤️

I'd happily stay here again. The location is fantastic, close to Taksim Square, and it was easy to walk to Istiklal Street and Galata Tower. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were genuinely kind and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Emir, Furkan, Serdem, Berat, and everyone I met were warm, welcoming, and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were upgraded to a suite thanks to my Titanium status, and the Bosphorus view was breathtaking. The smart room felt modern and very comfortable, and even the bathroom glass was super clean. The location is extremely convenient, just a two-minute walk from Taksim Square. Special thanks to Manager Batuhan for giving us such a detailed, helpful introduction to the hotel and area. We had a fantastic stay at Lokalist!

We spent one night here right beside Taksim Square. Without luggage, it was easy for me to take metro lines 11 and 2. The room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant in B1 is a good dinner option, especially on a cold, rainy day when you might not want to leave the hotel. It's a little pricey, but worth considering, and the Turkish wine is worth a taste.
