The staff were lovely and helpful, and the room was clean and quite okay, though a little small. The room-to-room insulation seemed good, but we could clearly hear people on the stair landing and, especially, noise from the street. That's the main downside. Even though the hotel is away from the crowd, the noise woke us several times during our three-night stay. It's a nice, safe hotel if you can sleep with a headset. That's what I did.

We needed a room at the last minute, and the staff kindly showed us the one we'd be getting before we booked. The hotel was newly renovated and spotless, with welcoming, attentive staff. They also helped call a taxi to the airport when we checked out. Breakfast is served in the neighbouring hotel, which has a beautiful view over the Bosphorus.

Eren at reception was friendly and informative, and made sure my stay was exceptional. The room was clean and well kept, and the bed and pillows were comfortable for my three nights there. I had a lovely stay, with the location close to all the nearby tourist spots.

We were a family of four, two adults and two teenagers, in the economical quad room with four bunk beds. It was very small for all of us, but each evening the room was very clean, with comfortable beds and pillows and fresh, neatly laid towels. Thanks to the housekeeping lady. Melih was at the front desk when we checked in. He spoke very good English and was friendly and helpful. We appreciated his recommendation for a breakfast place not far from the hotel, with a great view and non-tourist prices. Lynda Hotel has a sister hotel in the pink building two blocks away. It serves a daily buffet breakfast on the roof terrace for £10 per person. The location is great for walking to most sights, touristy restaurants and a few mini marts. The nearby roads are narrow, hilly and cobbled, so heels definitely aren't recommended.

We found Lynda Hotel peaceful despite being so close to Sultanahmet’s main sights. It sits on a quiet side street, and most attractions were only a few minutes away on foot. Ibrahim welcomed us at reception and was consistently calm and friendly whenever we came back; he also gave us useful suggestions. Our room was modern and spotless, with a good bathroom and shower. It was a bit small, but fair for the price, and the smart TV was handy for Netflix or YouTube before bed. Breakfast was decent for what we paid, though the selection could have had more food and drink options. It’s served in the hotel next door, on its top floor, so that might be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. We were very happy with our stay, 10/10.
