We were two young couples out exploring most of the day, and this budget hotel worked perfectly for us. It’s in central Fatih, close to the Blue Mosque and other historic sights, with a nice local feel and food nearby as well as the tourist area. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There’s no lift and the walls aren’t soundproof. I wouldn’t suggest it to someone wanting a luxury hotel or planning to spend lots of time indoors.

We stayed for seven days and appreciated the hospitality. If you care about a great location and kind, knowledgeable staff, this is a good choice.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. The location is convenient, and breakfast was average, but the rest of our stay was disappointing. The rooms and toilets were extremely small and not clean. There’s no elevator, which was a hassle with luggage. Around 3 AM, two guests had a loud fight that went on for about an hour. The shouting woke all of us and made it impossible to sleep.

We spent a week here and felt treated like family. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and they helped us book attractions and with plenty of other things. It’s right among the tourist sights, with some very good food nearby. I’d definitely stay again.

The food street nearby has plenty of tasty, affordable options, and the train station is about a five-minute walk away. It’s uphill, but easier than most hills in Turkey. I spent around a week at Maduro Hotel and found the room tidy, the bathroom modern and comfortable, and the whole place clean and well presented. The staff were kind and always ready to help, including with luggage since there’s no elevator, which we knew when booking. They can also arrange different tours, which is handy. A welcoming place with great service.
