Marmara Konak Old City

We had a good stay overall, and the woman who lives on the first floor helped me a lot. My husband and I were there for four days. The location is a big plus, about a 6-7 minute walk from sultanahmet, and I enjoyed hearing the karaoke bar next door, even though many people might find it noisy. There was nobody available to meet us or help when we arrived, since this isn't really a hotel. The room and washroom were clean and smelled nice. The TV didn't work, and they said there was an issue with it. Wifi was okay.

Our first night was spent in a completely different place because the room we'd booked was occupied. We weren't told in advance, and nobody apologized. After our scheduled tour the next day, we came back to find our belongings had been taken out of the room without anyone telling us. We were then brought to what I thought was the hotel I'd reserved, but that place was different too. I'd paid for a panoramic apartment and got a ground-floor room instead, with no television and broken, dirty items. The manager never answered my complaint. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. We chose this place for its location and good reviews, but people there told us this had happened to many others as well. I can't recommend it.

I stayed for four nights and felt safe there. The host was very helpful, and the place was clean. It had a great location and view, with public transportation and restaurants nearby. I'd come back in the future 👌

The sea view from our room was amazing, and we also enjoyed the little roof terrace with a sea view. We stayed seven nights with our child, and the staff treated us with a lot of respect and were very nice. The room was clean, the Turkish breakfast was good, and the service was fantastic. It's in a lovely area, within about a 5-10 minute walk of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazar and Sultanahmet tram station. I'd recommend it to people visiting.
