The location was ideal, right in the city center and an easy walk to many attractions. The staff’s hospitality impressed us most. They let us check in before the official time so we could freshen up and change after our journey. Though we booked for just one night, they also kindly let us have breakfast on two mornings. They were friendly, professional, and ready to help. They arranged an airport taxi, kept our luggage after checkout, and gave us somewhere to change before we left for the airport. The service went beyond what we expected and made the stay memorable. We’d gladly return to Old City Hotel and highly recommend it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. Everyone on staff was welcoming, though the young man working the afternoon shift on June 3rd and the morning shift on June 4th really stood out. He was kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. His friendly manner and care for guests made our stay especially enjoyable. We had a wonderful time at Old City Hotel and would happily stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. Thank you for the great hospitality! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The upstairs room had a beautiful view. I also found the staff really kind and helpful, and breakfast was cooked fresh when we arrived at the table. The room and bathroom were both very clean during my few nights there.

The terrace is nice, and the location is great. The rooms, though, were in poor shape: they weren’t clean, the shower taps were broken, and the toilet doors wouldn’t shut. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and the welcome from staff felt cold. We’d booked a comfort room but could still have been placed in a basement room. Very disappointing.

The breakfast we paid for as a buffet was inedible. The room was dirty and falling apart, with only two lamps working, and the beds were bad. There was noise late into the night, too. What scared me most was that the door card opened all the rooms, so we couldn’t leave anything behind. A horrible stay. We’ll never come back, and I absolutely don’t recommend it.
