We spent a couple of weeks here, and the room was kept very clean. I saw the room service staff working hard at their chores often, and they seemed like really good people. The front desk team were friendly, helpful, and multilingual. The location is amazing, close to the seaside and train station, with lots of good places nearby to try Turkish cuisine and explore the city. This hotel is a hidden gem, and way too cheap for such good service.

I used to think this would always be my go-to hotel when visiting Istanbul, which I do occasionally, but sadly the prices have gone up more than threefold. We stayed for two weeks, and the price had been really good. They cleaned every day, and the sheets weren't the best but were good enough. Great location for food shops and places to explore, good service, and the front desk clerk knew Russian and a little English. They also have laundry service.

The room was good, and the service was friendly. It isn’t a large hotel, but what we paid felt fair for the room, and I was satisfied overall. There’s no elevator. Two things could be improved: the disposable slippers were poor quality and felt easy to slip in, so regular ones would be better. Also, the room got too bright after sunrise around 5 a.m., making it hard to sleep. Thicker curtains would help.

The breakfast was a highlight, with lots of tasty choices made from fresh ingredients, and the staff there were attentive. My room was peaceful, clean, and comfortably furnished, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is also well placed for nearby attractions, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the reception team were welcoming and professional throughout. I felt well looked after at Ottoman Elegance Hotel and would gladly stay again. I recommend it.

We spent three nights here, on 12, 15, and 16 Oct 2023. The view was lovely and relaxing, and both the room and bathroom were spacious. Staff were kind and helpful. There’s also parking for two-wheelers, which worked well for us. I’d recommend considering this hotel for a stay. You can follow me on Instagram, ID mystry_scrt.
