The people at Rayelin Old Town Hotel made our stay unforgettable. A special thank you to Mohannad, Erhun, Remzi, Mehmet, and Görkem. Their kindness, professionalism, and personal attention made a real difference. They seemed to genuinely care, and every interaction showed it. From housekeeping and cleaners to porters and concierge, everyone was smiling, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. The hotel was immaculate, fresh, and vibrant, and our room was spotless every day. After long days exploring Istanbul, it was calm and relaxing to come back to. The location also made it easy to get around the city. The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the welcome from the moment we walked in made it feel like a home away from home. Our stay exceeded every expectation, with comfort, cleanliness, service, and atmosphere all coming together so well. If we return to Istanbul, this is the only place we’d choose. I’d highly recommend it for a memorable stay and exceptional service.

Getting around was easy during my 8-day stay. The hotel is close to bus stations, metro and tram stops, with everything nearby, especially Yemeni, Arabic, and Turkish restaurants. The staff were generally excellent and helpful, and I appreciated their hospitality. The manager was the exception. We saw him in the lobby several times, but he never greeted or spoke with guests. When I asked where the nearest metro station was, his attitude disappointed me. Someone in that role should show stronger hospitality and customer service. I enjoyed my stay overall.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was mediocre, but still not bad. It’s about 100 meters from M1a metro, which is perfect for getting around, and roughly 200 meters from the tramway to key areas like Sultan Ahmet and Emenunu. Historia mall is very close too. It isn’t the best or biggest mall in Istanbul, but it’s still very good. I’d recommend staying here.

I spent seven nights there and they never changed the sheets. When my pillowcases got dirty, they said I’d have to pay $25. I’ve never seen anything like that. Why charge compensation for something that got dirty instead of just cleaning it? It made me wonder if they were trying to scam people. The service was awful, and I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

I feel welcome and safe here, and I’m really enjoying my stay so far. The staff are friendly, the rooms are nice and clean, the beds are comfy, and breakfast is nice too. I’d definitely come back.
