The Ritus Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

The one thing I missed in Room 202 was a full-length mirror. There's a half mirror in the bathroom and another behind the coffee station, so I had to use the mirror in the lift to check myself before leaving. The room itself was a lovely corner room with a balcony, and fixing that detail would bring it from 99.99% to 100%. As a Hilton gold member, I make a point of staying at Hilton hotels when I travel, and this Tapestry hotel is one of the best I've experienced. From day one, Huri, Muhammad, and Kursat at reception were wonderful. After a long flight, their homemade lemonade, Turkish tea, and snacks were much appreciated. The atmosphere feels intimate and personal, like a boutique hotel where people pay attention to your needs. Breakfast was incredible for its service, quality, and choice. At checkout, I also appreciated the gift bag with water and small treats. The location is minutes on foot from the places to visit in Sultanahmet. When I return to Istanbul for work or pleasure, this hotel will be at the top of my list. My best to the team, and thanks for a wonderful stay.

The breakfast buffet had an exceptional range and quality, and we loved the artwork displayed around the hotel, each piece with a story to discover through a QR code. Rooms are compact but well equipped. The place feels like a calm oasis once you're inside, away from the busy landmarks nearby. Every staff member was welcoming, polite, and professional. The reception and concierge team helped with travel plans and room issues. We arranged airport transfers both ways by email before arriving, and the welcome tea, Turkish delight, and small departure gift were lovely touches. Huri, Samet, and Baris deserve a special mention. We had an issue with exterior lighting shining into our room, which had no blackout curtains, although other rooms in our group did. The manager helped by changing the light timing so it wouldn't disturb us. The hotel is just steps from the blue mosque and other Sultanahmet sights. We had a very pleasant stay and would happily come back.

Our rooms were a little smaller than we'd have liked, but we had a perfect boutique stay. We always choose Sultanahmet when visiting Istanbul, and this location was just right. We were so glad we found the place. The hospitality, attention to detail, and service were all wonderful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, full of flavor, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, newly opened, and decorated with real elegance and taste. Its location is fantastic, with many historical sights within walking distance. Huri, Sibel, and Rana were especially kind, attentive, and welcoming. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality.
