Tin Suites

Our fourth-floor room had a super comfortable King bed and plenty of room to lounge. It was well stocked, with a fridge, hair dryer, magnifying makeup mirror, loofah, and other amenities. The shower pressure was mediocre and the water temperature sometimes fluctuated, though neither bothered us much. The location was very convenient, just a stone’s throw from many of Istanbul’s main attractions. Staff were friendly and professional, helped with our luggage to and from the room, and gave us local recommendations. There’s no lift, and each floor means tackling a fairly steep staircase, so keep that in mind if you need accessibility. A definite highlight of our trip.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing compared with other Turkish boutique hotels. And those stairs wore me out every day, probably the only reason I wouldn’t come back. Everything else was lovely. The location is amazing, just a 4-minute walk to Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Sultanahmet tram stop. The bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated, with the best bed, pillows, and sheets. It had all the amenities I could think of, including an iron and board and a mini fridge. The bathroom was great too, with quality amenities and towels. Service was fantastic, and they even brought room service one day at no extra cost.

A heads-up for anyone staying here: it’s a narrow, five-story building with no elevator, so getting to the room involves climbing a couple of floors. We didn’t mind the stairs, but it seems useful to know in advance. The location couldn’t be better. Our stay was wonderful, with new, impeccably clean rooms and tasteful decor. They’re on the small side, which is expected for this part of town. I especially liked the gorgeous bed linen, fluffy oversized bath towels, and L’Occitane toiletries.

The only drawback for us was the stairs. They weren’t an issue during our stay, but it’s something to bear in mind. We loved the clean, beautiful, comfortable rooms, with a big bed and very nice pillows. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Hagia Sophia. At breakfast, we chose from the menu, including options like an omelet or menemen. The staff were lovely and helpful. Highly recommend it!
